More about TV ads. . .

My favourite ad was and still is the Liptons Tea ad from the 70's or 80's. Do you remember it? The one telling the story of Liptons....something about Thomas Lipton in 1983 sailing out to sea if I remember correctly. Nadia is right about a couple of aspects and incorrect on a couple of others.  The sailing clipper ad referred to Harris Coffee and Tea and dates from the late 1960’s.  It was resurrected for Australia’s 1988 Bicentennial, so you are not necessarily showing your age Nadia.  It can be viewed at:
